WEATHER permitting, this Saturday, 7th March, will be the penultimate event in the hugely successful Portsalon Open Winter Series.
The event is kindly sponsored by Auto Fast Fit Letterkenny and Michelin Tyres Ireland.
The recent storms have wrcked havoc for golfers, ensuring the concluding two events are now pencilled in for Saturday 7th and Saturday 14th March.
Can anyone overhaul leader and defending champion Daniel Shields in the standings?
Don’t forget all points scored on the final week are doubled. Call the Shop on 074 91 59459 to reserve tee-times for both weeks.
Members Offers
As we move into the new season we have a few offers that we want to share with you. Any member wishing to buy a Portsalon Golf Club pullover and t-shirt can do so €55. This will be the uniform for teams representing the club going forward. Members will also receive 15% off all clothing purchases in the golf shop in 2020.
Minor League 2020
As spring begins to hit the air around us, at long last, it will soon be time to recommence team golf for the new season. One team that managed to bring back some silverware to the Fanad peninsula last year was the Minor League, overcoming Letterkenny in the final. A change at the helm this year will see James Sandilands taking over the reins. The team captain has placed a sheet in the clubhouse where players wishing to be considered for selection can add name and contact phone number or, alternatively, contact James on 086 362 6207.
