Ulster Cup competitions are reaching the advanced stages with Lagan Harps and Illistrin taking victory in the Under-12 Ulster Cup in the last couple of days.

Lagan Harps 1 Buncrana Hearts 0 (after extra-time)
Spirited Lagan Harps saw off Buncrana Hearts after extra-time thanks to Harriett McCrossan’s goal.
As the game looked to be going to penalties, Erin Doherty picked up the ball on her own 18 ran about 30 yards before slotting the ball forward to McCrossan who calmly fired into the Buncrana net.
Kelsey Coll started well at right back with a great ball down the line to A’alya Mustafa however her cross was cut out by the Buncrana defender.
Heidi Gill was causing bother up from but Leesha Kelly and Chantel Peoples defended excellently.
Sinead Dealsey made possession count with excellent through balls to Tanya Gillen and Harriett McCrossan, however Buncrana’s keeper Holly Ferguson and defender Keri Loughrey were excellent through the game.
Illistrin FC 4 Bonagee United 1
Ciara Molloy scored twice as Illistrin advanced in the Under-12 Ulster Cup at the expense of battling Bonagee United.
Molloy’s double and goals by Nicole McDaid and Aobha Harrigan gave Paddy McDaid’s side the passage to the next stage of the competition.
Illistrin – who are also competing in the upper end of the Under-12 League – were four to the good before Grace Murphy bagged a late consolation for Natalie McFadden’s Bonagee.
