Former Finn Harps defender Packie Mailey made a winning start with new club Ballinamallard this afternoon.
Mailey, who signed for the Mallards during the week after ending his association with Harps, was handed a start today by Gavin Dykes and played his part in a 4-2win over Immaculata in the fifth round of the Irish Cup.
Ex-Harps man Ryan Curran netted two of the Ballinamallard goals with Stephen O’Flynn and Sean Noble also on the mark.
Ballinamallard, who also have St Johnston’s Shane McGinty on the books, will be away to Ballymena in the next round at the start of February.
