Win for Orr on Broad Street at Gowran Park

RATHMULLAN JOCKEY Oisin Orr took Dermot Weld’s Broad Street to victory at Gowran Park today.

Orr guided the 6/4 favourite to glory in the 5.30pm race.

Broad Street was pushed along and challenged just over a furlong from home.

Inside the final furlong, Orr took Broad Street into the lead and held on to stave off Wargrave, under the direction of Chris Hayes, by half a length.

The win was Orr’s latest for Weld and his 25th overall in 2019.
