Finn Harps battled to what could be a precious point last night against St Patrick’s Athletic.

Ollie Horgan’s men earned a 0-0 draw at Richmond Park.

The result followed on from Friday’s 1-1 draw against champions Dundalk and sets newly-promoted Harps up for a big north-west derby against Sligo Rovers on Friday night.

Young Niall McGinley came in last night to replace Raffaele Cretaro in the Harps team – and Harps almost nicked the win.
