DONEGAL won their tenth Ulster title – their fifth in the last nine years – thanks to a comprehensive win over Cavan this afternoon.
Donegal were eight points ahead at half-time and widened the deficit to nine a couple of times in the second half.
Jamie Brennan’s goal put the game beyond reach of Cavan, who rallied well to close the margins in the final ten minutes, with Conor Madden and Stephen Murray goaling.
Donegal were commanding victors.
