Sommer Lecky won silver at the IAAF World Under-20 Athletics Championships in Finland today – and here’s how she did it.
Lecky was pipped to gold by Karyna Taranda of Belarus, who leapt 1.92m, a height Lecky just couldn’t master.
But the Castlederg woman was in majestic form in Tampere. She added four centimetres to her previous PB of 1.86m and has qualified for the European Championships in Berlin.
