YOU PROBABLY KNOW what’s coming but stopping it is an entirely different matter.
Kilcar progressed to their second Michael Murphy Sports & Leisure Donegal SFC final on the bounce following a comprehensive 2-16 to 0-7 victory over St Michael’s in this evening’s semi-final at MacCumhaill Park.
Ryan McHugh has trademarked the palmed goal following runs from deep in recent seasons and twice in the first half he used that mechanism to beat county colleague Mark Anthony McGinley.
Eir Sport screened the contest live and shared the footage below:
Barry Doherty’s team certainly hit the ground running and on 16 minutes Ryan McHugh, assisted by his cousin Eoin scored the first goal of the game to put Kilcar 1-7 to 0-0 in front.
Then, two minutes before half-time, Ryan McHugh palmed home his second goal when Patrick McBrearty laid on the assist.
