RESIDENTS of a Raphoe housing estate took part in a collective workout class today.
With the Covid-19 outbreak having everyone in lockdown, Glenn Gallagher (pictured above with Raphoe ABC’s Peter O’Donnell after his business opened in October) decided to get the people of the Cathdral Hill estate into action.
Such was the success, Glenn – who runs a sports massage clinic in Raphoe – will now take a class every Tuesday and Thursday for the remained of the lockdown period.
“It was great to do something to keep the spirits high during these tough times,” Glenn told Donegal Daily/Donegal Sport Hub.
“Today was the first day to get it going to sort of get the feelers out.
“I know the moods of a lot of people are low so I just sent around a message offering to do the class.
“The neighbours really enjoyed it. We did around 40 minutes and we’re looking forward to Thursday now!”
