Mark McHugh admits that he had become ‘jealous’ of other clubs winning the Dr Maguire Cup – but last weekend he finally got his hands on an elusive Donegal SFC medal.
McHugh was Man of the Match as Kilcar defeated Naomh Conaill 0-7 to 0-4 in the final.
“It was the one medal that eluded me,” McHugh said.
“It was the one I’ve always wanted. Going around and seeing clubs who won the Championship, you feel jealous, but we’re going down the trough with the Dr Maguire.”
