RAPHOE Hockey Club haven’t been beaten by the physical distancing measures – and Donegal’s only hockey club has made a superb ‘keep the ball moving’ video.
The video features a massive 103 people as the club rallied everyone in a show of thanks to frontline workers who are aiding Ireland’s battle against the Covid-19 virus.
“We thought we’d have some fun together as a club and from the safe distance of our homes,” the club said.
“Anyone who knows Raphoe, knows that distance is never a problem!”
The video begins with senior ladies team player Arlyne Kilpatrick dropping the ball from a plane high in the Raphoe sky.
Enjoy the watch – and well done to everyone at Raphoe Hockey Club.
Raphoe have set down a challenge to other clubs in the Ulster Hockey League to take up a similar challenge.
