THERE were mixed emotions from Mark McGinty after Glenfin’s stalemate with Glenswilly on Sunday.
Glenfin let a four-point lead slip over the closing 12 minutes as Glenswilly marched back to claim a scarcely-deserved draw at Pairc Taobhoige.
“I feel that it’s a game that we left behind us,” McGinty told Donegal Daily/Donegal Sport Hub.
“We were four up and could have been more ahead. They’re fine margins in games like this.
“Before the game, we asked the boys to leave nothing behind, give all for the cause and empty the bodies. The boys all done that and you can ask no more.”
Ciaran Brady’s goal in the first half gave Glenfin a kick, but Brady’s dismissal on a straight red card came as a hammer blow to the An Gaeltacht Lár men, who face Milford at Moyle View on Saturday.
McGinty said: “We have a massive game now against Milford. They have six good forwards. It’ll be tough. Hopefully we can push on from this.”
