A 4-0 win over Shelbourne in Killygordon this afternoon keeps the Finn Harps Under-17s on track for a place in the knockout stages of the national competition.
Two goals each from captain Shane Blaney and Niall McGinley sealed the victory for Declan Boyle’s side.
Shels came to the Curragh in contention to qualify from the Northern Section but this defeat is a setback for the Dublin outfit.

Harps led 3-0 at the break thanks to a double from Blaney, which included a penalty with McGinley also finding the back of the Shels net.
It was McGinley’s second goal that rounded off a super win for Boyle’s boys.
