DONEGAL manager Rory Gallagher believes his team are ready to move on following their Ulster SFC final loss against Monaghan.
Gallagher’s side, who went down 0-11 to 0-11 to the Farney County in the provincial decider last Sunday week, are due to face Galway in the All-Ireland Round 4B qualifier at Croke Park on Saturday evening with a place in the quarter-finals up for grabs.
Karl Lacey is a definite absentee with a knee injury picked up last time out. Gallagher (pictured above) hinted there might also be “one other change” to his starting XV.
“Everyone’s pride get hurts when they get beaten,” he said. “You have to give great credit to Monaghan. Galway are very much on an upward curve. We know we are up against a formidable challenge.”
Gallagher spoke to Charlie Collins of Donegal Sport Hub. Watch the interview in full below.
