RORY GALLAGHER, the Donegal manager, saw his team overcome Galway in Saturday’s All-Ireland Round 4B qualifier on Saturday to set up an All-Ireland quarter-final against Mayo this coming Saturday.
Gallagher’s side produced an excellent second half to win 3-12 to 0-11 against the Connacht side with goals from Patrick McBrearty, Ryan McHugh and Christy Toye.
“We’ve developed a serious rivalry with Mayo,” Gallagher said. “There’s good tradition there and the supporters get on well. Mayo are an incredible team. Their players are great – great players and great leadership.”
