PATRICK MCBREARTY HAD an excellent outing at Croke Park as Donegal overcame Cork in the All-Ireland Round 4B qualifier.
The Kilcar forward (pictured above by Geraldine Diver) kicked 11 points in a man of the match performance as Rory Gallagher’s Donegal defeated Cork 0-21 to 1-15 to set up an All-Ireland quarter-final against Dublin on Saturday.
[adrotate group= “38”]“We’re just happy to get over it,” he said. “We’d a rough 13 or 14 days after losing the Ulster final to Tyrone. We showed good character. I’m just luck the balls found me. We regouped at half-time and the second half display was probably the best this year.”
