KILCAR WON THEIR sixth Donegal Under-21 Championship last night as they dug deep into the reservoir to secure a 0-13 to 1-8 win over St Eunan’s in Ballybofey.
The frost had set in when Darragh McWalters threatened to broke the ice as the St Eunan’s full-back scored a 50th minute goal to bring St Eunan’s back to the surface.

“We showed unbelievable attitude and we dug deep,” Aodhán McGinley, who scored five points in a Man of the Match display, said.
Team manager John McNulty said ‘they played as well as any team could’ and Ryan McHugh, the captain, mentioned how it ‘means everything’.
For Stephen McBrearty, it was an extra special night as he had missed the 2013 final, when Kilcar last won the Cunningham Cup, because of injury.
“There was no way we were going to lose tonight,” he told Donegal Sport Hub.
