LETTERKENNY ROVERS HAD nine toes in the final of the FAI Intermediate Cup this afternoon.
The side managed by Eamon McConigley were 1-0 up against Ringmahon Rangers with Steve Okakpu-Emeka on the mark in the semi-final in Cork, only to concede an equaliser in the 94th minute through Ray Kenny.
However, Rovers played well and will have every chance on home turf in the replay in two weeks’ time with the winners of the tie playing against either Portmarnock FC – who Letterkenny face in the FAI Senior Cup next Sunday – or Crumlin United, who drew 2-2 today.
