AN ANKLE injury has curtailed Karen Guthrie’s season with Donegal but she’s not going to throw in the towel just yet.
The Glenfin native played a cameo from the bench as Davy McLaughlin’s side won a first ever Ulster SFC last month against Monaghan and may be in line for another impact role as Donegal take on Armagh in Saturday’s TG4 All-Ireland quarter-final in Clones.
“If I got 10 or 15 minutes I would be happy and if I contribute at all then I would be happy,” Guthrie said after her three-month lay-off. “We’re in a really good place now. I’d love another couple of weeks to get back in there.”
