KARL GRIFFIN HAS been nominated for Athletics Ireland’s “Inspirational Performance of the Year on Irish soil”.
The Mountcharles native (pictured above left) won the 800m at the Morton Games International Athletics Meeting on July 24 and that performance has seen him make the shortlist.
Seeing as it’s a people’s choice award, that means every vote will count so please vote for Karl here.

Griffin also finished in an impressive sixth place in the European Under-23 Championships in Estonia in July.
