Martin Harley rode Thaqaffa to victory for the third time this year as he steered the Amy Murphy-trained five-year-old to a win at Kempton Park.
Thaqaffa took the win in the Matchbook Casino Handicap.
Thaqaffa, sent off at 9/2, steadied, but seemed to be held up in the last trio.
Under direction of Harley, who’d ridden nine winners before then in 2018, Thaqaffa made big headway a furlong from home and led inside the last to win by a short head from the 9/4 favourite Warm Oasis.
