AS Donegal braces itself for another weekend of bad weather, one game has already fallen victim to the rain.
Tonight’s bmcsports.ie Ulster Senior League game between Bonagee United and Finn Harps FC Reserves is off, the USL have announced.
The USL said: “Tonight’s bmcsports.ie Ulster Senior League game between Bonagee United and Finn Harps FC Reserves has been called off following a pitch inspection at Dry Arch Park this afternoon.
“The game will be re-fixed in due course.”
Earlier today, the EirGrid Ulster Under-20 quarter-final between Donegal and Monaghan – on Saturday afternoon – was moved to Pairc Aodh Ruadh in Ballyshannon.
Donegal has been issued with a status yellow rainfall warning.
Met Eireann has issued the warning for Donegal as well as Leitrim, Mayo and Sligo.
The warning comes into effect from 3am tomorrow morning. They have warned of a risk of isolated flooding as a result of the downpours.
