Donegal’s sporting schedule is being hit by the adverse weather conditions that have swept over the county in the last 24 hours.
Last night’s Four Lanterns Ulster Senior League game between Bonagee United and Derry City Reserves was called off late in the day.
Dry Arch Park had passed two earlier pitch inspections, but match referee Packie Coll carried out a further assessment upon arrival for the game and deemed it unsafe.
A number of games in the Voodoo Venue Cup have already fallen victim to the weather.
Raphoe Town Reserves v Drumbar United Reserves, Drumkeen United Reserves v Keadue Rovers Reserves, Fintown Harps v Lagan Harps Reserves  and Kildrum Tigers Reserves v Cappry Rovers Reserves have been called off.
The FAI Youth Inter-League game between Inishowen and Mayo has been postponed.
The Ulster Boxing Council has announced that this weekend’s Ulster 9 Counties Championships have been put back to next weekend. This weekend’s programme will be boxed next weekend with the finals, which had been set for next weekend, to be boxed at a date to be confirmed.
