TYRONE defender Rory Brennan could be in hot water after a red card against Donegal.
Brennan was shown a straight red card late in the Red Hands’ Division 1 defeat in Ballybofey after appearing to lay a hand on referee Jerome Henry.

Minor physical interference with an official is a category 5 infraction carrying a minimum 12-week suspension.
With the restarted season condensed, Brennan could find his campaign halted. In just two weeks’ time, Tyrone head for MacCumhaill Park again in the Ulster SFC.
“It appears that was the case, but laying of hands is a very broad term – maybe he touched his arm to make his point, I don’t know,” Tyrone manager Mickey Harte said.
“I hope it isn’t seen as serious as that. I don’t think Rory is the kind of guy who would be doing anything like that. If he did it would just be the impulse of the moment, to ask him or to question, ‘What happened there?’”
Brennan was penalised for a foul on Michael Murphy when he seemed to make contact with the official as the Donegal captain waited to take the free.
Harte said: “Let’s not pre-empt what it will be. We would hope that the people who look at it would see that wouldn’t be something he would ever set out to do and would have had no intention of interfering with the match official, if he did that; I didn’t see it, that’s what the story says.”
Kieran McGeary was also sent off after the Tyrone defender got yellow, black and red cards in quick succession.
