TYLER TOLAND is set to have a unique experience at the Galway Cup next week.
The 15-year-old St Johnston woman is set to play in the tournament with Kildrum Tigers.
In doing so, the midfielder will have the distinction of being the only female to play in this year’s competition.
Toland recently made the move to top Northern Irish women’s league side Sion Swifts and netted hat-tricks against Cliftonville and Linfield in her first two games for the club.

Toland was also part of the Irish Under-16s who won the UEFA WU176 Development Tournament in Hungary back in April and also played in the final of the Inspiresport Bob Docherty Tournament in Wales with the Irish Under-15s.
Kildrum, managed by Shane Porter, are in the 2001 Club section of the Galway Cup and have been drawn with the NECSL and the Republic of Ireland Development squad.
