TYLER TOLAND will be on international duty for the first time in 2017 tomorrow-week.
The Republic of Ireland Under-17s face Australia in a training match at the AUL and Toland has been called up to Dave Bell’s squad.
The St Johnston woman, a student at Deele College who lines out for Maiden City Academy, became a key member of the squad in 2016 when she helped the Girls in Green to reach the Elite Round of qualifiers for the European Championships.
Toland aided the Irish side to wins over Faroe Islands (6-0), Belarus (2-0) and Iceland (4-1) in Cork and they topped their group.
The Under-17s will take on Hungary, Serbia and Scotland in Serbia in March.
Next Saturday’s game kicks off at 1pm.
