FORMER REPUBLIC OF IRELAND striker Tony Cascarino has said that Seamus Coleman should be part of Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City squad next season.
Cascarino, a football pundit these days, spoke to Sky Sports about how former FC Barcelona and current Bayern Munich manager Guardiola could improve the City team when he takes over at Eastlands at the end of the season.
Killybegs native Coleman, Cascarino believes, could be added to the squad with the 27-year-old slotting in at right-back.
Cascarino has also shortlisted Coleman’s Everton teammate, centre-half John Stones; left-back Marcelo and central midfielder Luka Modric from Real Madrid, Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba and Andrés Iniesta of FC Barcelona.
And, as Sky Sports have stated: “It’s just for fun!”
