Donegal men Alexander Tinney and Luke Witherow played in the European Hockey League in Barcelona at the weekend.

The players left Raphoe during the summer to join Premier Division side Banbridge and they traveled to Spain at the weekend for games in the EHL.
Bandbridge earned one of two Irish places in the European competition and at the weekend Tinney and Witherow became the first two Donegal players to line out in the EHL.
Banbridge were handed a tough assignment for their games at the Pau Negre Stadium.
Banbridge lost out 6-9 to WKS Grunwald Poznan and 6-2 to Royal Racing Club De Bruxelles.
