THREE GOALS FROM Carlow’s Sean Gannon were vital as Carlow defeated London 4-4 to 1-11 in Ruislip this afternoon.
For London, Adrian Hanlon from Dungloe played the first half before hobbling off with a back strain, while Ballybofey’s John Lynch – formerly of MacCumhaill’s and Letterkenny native Dualtach Molloy, St Eunan’s, came on in the last quarter.

Carlow were 3-3 to 0-5 in front at half-time with John Murphy having scored a goal, as well as Gannon’s brace. The Carlow forward added his third goal early in the second half and although London rallied they lost out by two points.
London have still to get off the mark in the Allianz League Division 4 having lost in Louth last Sunday.
