Sean McGoldrick moved to 4-0 as a professional with a third-round stoppage of Michael Barnor.
At the O2 arena in London, McGoldrick stopped Barner two minutes and four seconds into round three of their super-bantamweight contest.
McGoldrick, won gold at the 2010 Commonwealth Games in India and a bronze at the 2014 version in Glasgow.
His father Liam hails from Ballyshannon and Donegal Boxing Board President Peter O’Donnell was among the attendance at the O2.
The MTK Global puncher McGoldrick ended the six-round contest before the midway point and hopes today’s win will kick-start his 2018.
