ONE FINN HARPS fan didn’t even let the small matter of her graduation prevent her from traveling to Belfield to support her team in the first leg of the First Division play-off last night.
Castlefin native Nicole Bryson was due to graduate from her Health and Social Care course at Letterkenny Institute of Technology yesterday.
Instead, she skipped the 10am ceremony and, early in the afternoon, boarded a bus in Ballybofey with the 54 Crew Finn Harps Supporters Club to the play-off.

Ciaran Coll’s header inside the opening minute ensured it was a night to remember for the big away support.
“That was well worth missing my graduation for,” Bryson beamed afterwards.
“I was graduating at 10, but I didn’t want to get my hair and all that done to be heading to Belfield.
“It was a great result to go away and get a 1-0 win in the first leg. I can’t wait for next week’s game now.”
It’s a big few days for the Castlefin Celtic clubwoman, whose 21st birthday falls on Wednesday with celebrations planned this weekend.
“That result was some way to start the 21st celebrations,” she said.
Harps midfielder Raymond Foy – who returned to the team from a recent injury last night – also missed his graduation to line out for Harps.
Foy was set to graduate with a Bachelor of Honours in Science, Sports Performance and Coaching at 5pm, but helping Harps to a priceless 1-0 win took precedence.
