Oisin Harkin’s 1-7 was key last evening as Termon defeated Sean MacCumhaills in the U14 Division 1 League final at Glenswilly.
Termon 4-9 Sean MacCumhaills 2-9
There was little between the teams once MacCumhaills managed to come back from a 0-6 to 0-0 deficit in the opening quarter.
But Harkin’s haul and goals from Paddy McDaid, Oisin Farrell and Eoghan Quinn were the big separators.
Andrew Murray’s goal had MacCumhaills within three (1-7 to 1-4) at half-time.
Harkin bagged a second goal for Termon, but sub Mark Mbuili had an instant reply with a goal down the other end.
But Termon were undeterred and Farrell and Quinn – from a penalty – added further goals.
