TERMON have become the latest club to confirm a new manager for the 2017 campaign.
Hugh Harkin will be the man in the Burn Road hotseat this year, the club has confirmed.
Harkin takes over from Francie Friel, who stepped down after one year in the position.
Harkin was a member of Friel’s backroom team.
Friel was in charge in 2016, where they qualified for the quarter-finals of the Donegal SFC for the third year in succession – only to lose 0-19 to 0-4 against Kilcar – but were relegated from Division 1 of the All-County Football League.
Friel previously led the Termon ladies to All-Ireland success in 2014, while Harkin is also a former Termon ladies boss.
Harkin has confirmed Michael Boyle (strength and conditioning), Paul McIntyre (physio and rehabilitation) and Christy Wilson (kit man) as his backroom team while Paul Doherty and connell McGrenra are selectors with the reserves, with Harkin also in charge there.
