DONEGAL HAD ten winners on Sunday at the Ulster 9 counties finals for 11, 12 and 13 year-old boxers in the Halfway House.
Illies Golden Gloves played hosts to the finals and Donegal came away with nine winners, five of them in the ring and five via walkovers.

Bernie McDonagh was the Irish Boy 1 36kgs champion in April when he overcame Jake Daly at the National Stadium in Dublin and the Dunfanaghy man continued his good form on Sunday.
McDonagh took the Boy 2 39kgs crown with a unanimous decision win over Dungloe’s Jordan Saville.

McDonagh’s Dunfanaghy clubmate Killian Durning defeated Michael Maughan (St Malachy’s) in the Boy 2 42kgs final.
Carndonagh’s Clodagh McGonigle stopped Makenzie Murray (Maydown) to collect the Girl 2 44kgs title in emphatic style.
Rising Raphoe man Liam Crawford overcame Dungloe’s Adam Boyle in an all-Donegal Boy 2 50kgs decider, while Dunree’s Josh McDonagh overcame Oisin O’Kane from St John’s in the Boy 1 33kgs final.

There were also wins, via walkover for Katie Mulhern of Bundoran (Girl 1, 60kgs), Kyle McGonigle from St Bridget’s Clonmany (Boy 2 63kgs), Carndonagh’s Shania McCloskey (Girl 3 50kgs), Twin Towns’ Kira McMenamin (Girl 3 52kgs) and Dungloe man Pauric O’Donnell (Boy 3 60kgs).
