EILISH WARD was part of the St Naul’s team that won the Donegal Ladies IFC this afternoon in Ballybofey. The Mountcharles-based team were 1-16 to 2-9 winners against St Eunan’s and were impressive in their victory having had 10 different scorers whilst also limiting their opponents to just three points in the second half. Layla Alvey captained St Naul’s to victory over St Eunan’s in the IFC final this afternoon at MacCumhaill Park in Ballybofey. They were 1-16 to 2-9 winners over the Letterkenny side having managed to put some space between the teams in the second half. Alvey spoke to Alan Foley afterwards.
