PETER SWEENEY FROM St Michael’s GAA club is currently conducting a research project on ‘Welfare and well-being of club GAA players in Ireland.’
The Creeslough native is at IT Sligo, where he is a final year student studying Health Science and physiology.
“I am currently doing a research project/thesis on the welfare of GAA players and am hopeful of getting responses from club players all over the country to get an understanding if their thoughts on club GAA,” he told Donegal Sport Hub.
“The aim was to get approximately 200 responses and so far I am very pleased to have got 1000+ responses.”
