As the weekly Sunday scrambles continued last week at the earlier tee off time of 12 noon, a calm and mild day greeted golfers at Otway as they went into battle to secure the festive bird.
Although pin positions were a bit tricky on a few of the holes, the trio of Odhran Patton, Paul Murray and Martin O’Reilly did just enough with a score of 5 under par to land the prize on BoT.
Looks like it could be history repeating itself for Charlie who just missed out, but will surely taste success before the big man in the red suit comes calling.
Open scrambles continue this Sunday with tee off at 12 noon and names must be in to the clubhouse at least 15 minutes beforehand for inclusion in the draw for partners.
