Glenfin staged a stirring comeback on Sunday to overcome Termon and reach the Donegal senior ladies final once more.
Glenfin 2-11 Termon 2-07
With 15 minutes remaining, goals from Bridget Gallagher and Geraldine McLaughlin had Termon 2-7 to 0-8 in front and, seemingly, on their way to the final.
Termon, who had been behind 0-7 to 1-3 at half-time, looked set for victory, but Glenfin had other ideas and dug deep to pull off a memorable win.
Karen Guthrie and Yvonne Bonner points had the margin down to a goal.
Bonner drilled home a goal to level the game before Bonner’s point dramatically swung the contest in favour of the An Gaeltacht Lár representatives. Bonner hit 1-4 for Glenfin with Guthrie totalling four points.
Gemma Glackin’s goal in added time put Glenfin through to the final, where they’ll face Moville.
