ST JOHNSTON’S Jack Macbeth has been selected for a summer trip to England with a North-West select.
Macbeth will compete with the North-West Under-17s in the inter-provincial series againstr NCU and LCU in July before going to Sussex in August.
The North-West Under-17s will play five games in Sussex with their opponents including Bermuda.
They’ll also face Sussez, Oxfordshire, Guernsey and Norfolk.
St Johnston player Jack is the younger brother of Ryan Macbeth, now with Bready, who has represented Ireland at underage level.
Jack has also turned out for Ireland underage sides.
