History was made last Friday evening as our girls won a first County Camogie title at U-14 level in over 40 years, to add to the All Ireland Féile title they won in June.
The girls performed brilliantly to defeat favourites Burt on a scoreline of 3-01 to 1-00. Congratulations to all the players and management on a brilliant season.
The Senior and Reserve footballers are in Championship quarter final action on Sunday evening in MacCumhaill Park against Glenswilly, throw in set for 5.15pm and 6.45pm.
Congratulations to the Minor girls footballers who qualified for the County Final with a 5-18 to 2-07 win over Carndonagh.
Well done also to the Minor Boys on their Championship semi final win over Aodh Ruadh, winning a gripping match 0-14 to 0-07 after a late scoring burst.
The U-13 Girls footbll team had a good win over St Mary’s, Convoy last Saturday. Training is on Thursday from 6pm to 7.15pm. The girls are away to Downings this Saturday at 11am. Bus leaving Tobin’s at 9.45am sharp.
The U-13 Boys football team opened their league campaign with a 1-16 to 2-05 win over Malin. They are due to play Cloughaneely at home this weekend while the Dev. team are due to face Robert Emmet’s, details tbc.
Hard luck to our U-12 and U-16 Hurlers who went down in their league playoff matches at the weekend.
This Saturday morning, September 12th sees the annual Gary Doyle U-11 memorial tournament take place in O’Donnell Park. All help and support on the morning is most welcome. Then on Saturday evening, after the County Senior Hurling Final, to mark the 10th anniversary of Gary’s passing, the Minor team of 1995 takes on the 1993/94 team in a challenge game at O’Donnell Park followed by refreshments in the Clubhouse afterwards. Everyone welcome to come along on the day.

The St. Eunan’s ‘Come Dine with Me’ will take place on Halloween night, Sat. 31st October. Full details will be circulated by club email and also available on the Club Facebook page. A great evening’s entertainment is promised in what is always a great social occasion for our Club.
