St Eunan’s coasted into the Donegal Minor Championship final with 15 points to spare after seeing off Ardara at The Banks.

Ardara played with the strong wind in their favour in the first half but failed to take advantage of it as Eunans led by a point at the break.
The key score came in the 18th minute when Eoin McGeehin and Matthew McGovern were involved in the build-up before Oisin Purdy set up Louis Hasson who blasted to the net from 12 yards out.
It took Ardara nine minutes to open the scoring with a Niall McCrossan free.
Conor O Donnell replied for St. Eunans in the 15th minute, also from a free but Matthew Sweeney restored the Ardara lead with a fisted point.
Then came Hasson’s goal quickly followed by another Conor O’Donnell point from play.
Darragh O’Donnell kicked an excellent point from play and McCrossan converted a 45 to leave it 1-2 to 0-4 to St. Eunam’s at the break.
Two points in two minutes by Niall Hannigan and Eoin McGeehin were quickly followed by two from Conor O’Donnell and a super effort by Niall Hannigan to leave six in it.
Three minutes later it was over as a contest with a second goal for Eunan’s.
A five man move ended with a easy tap in from six yards by Oisin Purdy and a nine point lead.
St.Eunans continued to dominate, O’Donnell kicked a couple of frees and Michael McGrory pointed from play to a lone free from McCrossan. and it was 2-10 to 0-05.
The final score of the game came in the final minute when Louis Hasson’s powerful drive beat the good attempt by keeper Gallagher to save it. St. Eunans move on to meet Kilcar in the final.
