ST EUNAN’S COLLEGE from Letterkenny opened their MacLarnon Cup campaign with a comfortable win over St Joseph’s, Crossmaglen, in Garvahey this afternoon.

The side managed by James Gordon made a flying start on their return to the competition they last won in 2014 ahead of next week’s meeting with St Columb’s College from Derry.
Today, St Eunan’s had it all their own way from start to finish.
Jake Whelan set up Ryan McLaughlin for the opening goal on the 20-minute mark and St Eunan’s were 1-9 to 0-2 in front at half-time.
Caoimhin Marley of Glenswilly kept the scoreboard ticking over before two goals arrived in the closing stages. First of all Odhran McFadden rounded the goalkeeper to shoot home four minutes from time before another substitute, this time Niall O’Donnell, pounced for a third.
