The Senior footballers take on St.Michael’s on Saturday evening in the County semi final at MacCumhaill Park, throwing in at 7.30pm.
Another hugely successful weekend on the pitch as two more county titles made their way back to Letterkenny courtesy of our Minor Football teams.
The girls defeated Naomh Mhuire 6-05 to 0-03 to clinch the (c) title followed by the boys defeat of Naomh Conaill by 3-06 to 0-12 in the Div.1 Co. final. Congratulations to the players and management from both teams on this historic achievement.
The Junior footballers defeated MacCumhaill’s in their championship semi final, winning 2-08 to 1-07 with Michael Moreton and Matthew McColgan netting the vital goals.
The Under-16 Hurlers also recorded a brilliant victory over Burt in their championship semi final and they will now face Buncrana in the county final at Burt this Thursday, throw in 5.45pm. Best of luck to the players and management.
The Under-16 boys football team will play Buncrana this weekend in the Northern championship semi-final, details tbc.
Good luck to our Under-14 girls football team who travel to Kilmacud, Dublin for the 7’s tournament on Saturday.
The Under-13 girls football team are home to Downings this Thursday evening at 6pm.
The Under-13 boys football team defeated Buncrana 0-15 to 2-03 and will be home to St. Michael’s this Sunday at 11.45am. The Development team had a fine 1-11 to 0-10 win over Convoy and travel to Glenfin this Sunday, throw in also 11.45am.
Best of luck to former club players, and current Dunedin Connolly’s (Edinburgh) members Jonathan Foley, coach/mentor, and players Angie Callaghan and Niamh Morrison. All three are involved with the Scotland team who face Louth in the ladies All Ireland final this Sunday at 11:45am at Croke Park, live on Tg4.
