ST CATHERINE’S have confirmed that they will return to normal on Monday following a temporary suspension as a result of a Covid-19 precaution.
Today, the Killybegs based club – the home club of Republic of Ireland captain Seamus Coleman – confirmed that the test returned negative.
In a brief statement, the club said: “St Catherine’s FC would like to let everyone know that our member got tested and thankfully the result has returned negative.
“The clubs activities will return to normal and adhere to FAI and HSE guidelines from Monday August 17th.”
Curragh Athletic, Drumkeen United and Mulroy Academy all temporarily suspended activity due to Covid cases in their areas.
The Donegal Women’s League was halted for almost two weeks following a positive test by an underage player within a member club.
GAA clubs Naomh Colmcille, Naomh Conaill, Cloughaneely and Bundoran have also taken temporary precautionary measures in recent weeks before returning to play.
