The move comes after a club member displayed Covid-19 symptoms. The club is now awaiting the results of a Covid-19 test.
St Catherine’s are the latest soccer club in Donegal to take such a precaution.
Curragh Athletic, Drumkeen United and Mulroy Academy all temporarily suspended activity due to Covid cases in their areas.
The Donegal Women’s League was halted for almost two weeks following a positive test within a member club.
GAA clubs Naomh Colmcille, Naomh Conaill, Cloughaneely and Bundoran have also taken temporary precautionary measures in recent weeks before returning to play.
St Catherine’s say they have suspended activity ‘until further notice’.
