PLACES AT a festive five-a-side soccer tournament in aid of Letterkenny Educate Together National School are filling up fast.
Interested teams are urged to get their entries in as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
The tournament – which carries a €500 prize fund – is on Saturday, December 28 at the Letterkenny Community Centre from 11.30am-3pm.
Donegal Physiotherapy & Performance Centre are on board as the main sponsors of the tournament.
“We are delighted to sponsor this tournament, which is for a very good cause in a school that is leading the way in activity and participation,” Declan Gallagher said.
“It’s a great time of year to do something like this and a chance for people to dust off the Christmas cobwebs.”
All proceeds will go towards LETNS PE fund.
School Principal, Áine Fabisiak said: “Hopefully everyone will get behind the tournament. We are a very active school here at LETNS and the tournament will help us to get some new PE equipment. It’s open to everyone and it would be great to get a full entry.”
Any combination of eight adults are permitted.
Teams can register by calling into LETNS or contacting any staff member by December 6.
