LETTERKENNY NATIVE SHAUN PATTON has put pen to paper on a new deal at Derry City.
The goalkeeper (pictured above left with Cillian Morrison) can now look forward to a second season at the Brandywell club having joined last season from Finn Harps.
Patton kept goal for St Eunan’s in their Ulster Club Championship fixtures against Roslea Shamrocks and Omagh St Enda’s having played all his soccer for Bonagee United.
Patton made his Harps debut as a 16-year-old in the First Division in April 2012, saving a penalty from Gary Dempsey of Waterford United at the RSC having replaced the injured Ciaran Gallagher.
Now 19, Patton is the second Donegal dweller to sign a new contract for new Derry manager Kenny Shiels, with Ronan Curtis having signed the dotted line last week.
