LETTERKENNY ABC’S Paddy McShane won his second Irish title of the year last night.
The Letterkenny youngster, pictured above with Peter O’Donnell, won the 36kgs title at the National Junior Cadet finals at the National Stadium in Dublin.
McShane overcame Portlaoise boxer Odhrán McInerney with an excellent display.
McShane was in control for the most part, the ringside judges all scoring the fight in favour of the diminutive Letterkenny puncher.

Last week, McShane held sway against Johnny Joyce of Mullingar in his semi-final, starting well and finishing well to claim the win – and he was on fire last night to lower the colours of a hotly-tipped McInerney, who scorched past Jake Ward in his semi-final.
