SEAMUS COLEMAN TRAINED on his own with the Republic of Ireland squad this afternoon in Dublin.
The Killybegs native, who captained Ireland against both Italy and France at Euro 2016, has yet to feature for Everton this season due to an ankle injury. He undertook a light session today away from the rest of the squad and is said to have got though it unscathed.
[adrotate group=”38″]The 27-year-old will not be considered for Wednesday night’s friendly international against Oman at the Aviva Stadium but remains hopeful of being available for Martin O’Neill’s side’s first 2018 World Cup qualifier. That takes place on Monday, September 5, against Serbia in Belgrade.
