Seamus Coleman to target a Cup return from injury

SEAMUS COLEMAN WILL target a return from injury in one of two up-and-coming Cup games for Everton.

The Killybegs man picked up a calf injury in the recent 2-1 win over Manchester City in the Carling Cup semi-final first leg.

Coleman missed the weekend’s FA Cup win over Dagenham and Redbridge as well as last night’s 0-0 draw with Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium in the Premier League.

Coleman will miss the next two League games against Chelsea and Swansea, but could return for either the second leg against City or the FA Cup fourth round clash with either Carlisle or Yeovil.

“Seamus Coleman, as we anticipated, we fell he is going to be out for the next 10 to 15 days,” said Roberto Martinez, the Everton manager.
